We’re super pumped as we count down to ROAR NYC. We’re hoping to meet all of you who will be in New York that week.
If you haven’t registered for the main event priority guest list, make sure you do that soon, as we’ll be closing off the list on Saturday, 18th of June.
ROAR NYC 2022
Last week we announced the full details of our NFT.NYC 2022 plan. ROAR NYC will be three exclusive events open to all holders.
Mon, 20th of June: The Main Event
We kick off ROAR NYC with a bang on night one with The Main Event at The Ascent Lounge in Manhattan. All Lazy Lions, Lazy Cubs, and Lazy Bungalow owners are invited along with their plus-one. Doors open at 9pm, but this isn’t a party you want to be ‘fashionably late’ for. There will be an open bar and some light canapés, so be ready for a ROARing night! 😏
To get into the event, you’ll need to use the Tokenproof app to safely verify ownership of either a Lazy Lions, Lazy Cubs, or Lazy Bungalows NFT. You’ll need to download the Tokenproof app and enrol with your relevant ETH address ahead of time. For more information and support, view the #lion-updates channel in Discord.

Tue, 21st of June: Puma Pop-Up
Once you’ve slept off your hangover (we suggest having a couple of these), make sure you head over to the Puma Flagship NYC store, where our big cat partners will be hosting a Lazy Lions x Puma Pop-Up event.
The pop-up will be open from 11am until 7pm for all Lazy Lions and Lazy Cubs holders who want to get their NFT printed on a Puma t-shirt. Shirts cost $28 each, and you’ll just need to email your image as a jpeg (RIGHT CLICK SAVE!) to the Puma store upon arrival (details will be available in-store). It’ll be printed live while you wait and should take about 10 minutes.
Lazy Lions founders, Ash and Nine, will be in store at 1pm to keep you company while you wait. So drop by and say hi.
Thu, 23rd of June: VIP Dinner
On the final day of ROAR NYC, we’ll be hosting an intimate VIP dinner near Rockefeller Center.
The Lazy Lions VIP Dinner will be invitation-only, and the limited number of guests will be determined by a random draw. To enter the draw you’ll need to register using this form before 11.59pm PT.
Note: completing this survey does not guarantee access to the event due to its limited capacity.
An email invitation containing all relevant information (including the time and location) will be sent to invitees. Once invitations have been sent out, the team will make an announcement via Discord.
ROAR NYC will be a can’t-miss event, and we hope to get a chance to meet you all!

A couple of quick updates about Lazy Cubs
- The Lazy Cubs collection is now officially verified on OpenSea
- You can officially check rarity rankings via the Rarity.Tools website
Metadata Update
The Lazy Lions metadata has now officially been frozen.
So, what’s this actually mean? Basically, it means you’re guaranteed that the image of your NFT can’t be altered or removed as it’s now permanently stored on a decentralized storage platform — IPFS.
Discord Retro
Late last week, we held a retrospective in Discord to discuss some of the feedback we received and how we’ll be moving forward as we take on bobo (aka the bear market).

First off, a big ROARing welcome to all the new community members and all the new Lazy Cub holders.
For those new to The Pride, my name is Aaron and I’m the Lazy Lions’ Community Manager. If you ever have any questions, concerns, or just want to chat and share gifs, I’m the guy you come to. You can find me on Discord (AR_ON_discord) and Twitter (AR_ON_tweets) if you ever need anything!
The Lazy Cubs launch seems like just yesterday, and I’m still amazed at all the new members showing their excitement with finally being able to join our awesome community. So many Lazy Cubs have already adapted well, joining in our spaces and Twitter roars, and showing off their creativity and team spirit. To those new builders, thank you very much.
I can’t wait to catch up with you all in New York, and I hope to say hi to most of you at The Main Event at ROAR NYC… I’ll be the one with his lion tattooed on his leg. 😜
